How much does engineered hardwood flooring cost per square foot?

What's the difference between engineered hardwood and solid hardwood flooring?
Engineered hardwood has a real hardwood top layer bonded to a stable plywood core, which makes it far more resistant to humidity and temperature changes than solid hardwood flooring — and it can go over concrete or radiant heat.
